Freedom to teach means that I am able to do what is needed to be done without overwhelmingly relying on data from tests to prove that I did what I was supposed to do.
Freedom to teach means being able to put in a solid day of work teaching freely and enjoying the feeling of seeing students learn and achieve and for them to try again with me if they did not reach our goals for the day.

Freedom to teach mean that I have the tools, respect, support, and encouragement to do what I do.
It means my school, the families of my students, the community, and the Department of Education are working with me to ensure that my students get what they need, academically as well as socially, emotionally, and physically in and out the classroom.
