I am excited to attend all of the Webinars.
I love learning something new.

I love learning something new.

What do you mean by "introductory phrases?

Very basic phrases one learns in conversational Spanish such as greetings, farewells, days of the week, months of the year, asking and responding to basic questions such as:
When is your birthday? Where are you from? Where do you live? How are you? When is your birtday? etc.

Be sure to check out these SEL sessions: https://sharemylesson.com/community/329719/resources?topic=2126642#reso…

The Folger Library is one of my favorite presenters every year!

Which topics are you most excited to hear about?

I love guinea pigs!!

Oh yes!

I have been working with different deep breathing techniques. I have a video I have shared with my colleagues and students. The best and easiest is the unfolding of the ears. Gently reach up and uncurl your outer ear from the temple back. Then do the other ear. There is a tingling sensation that starts at the ears and spreads all over the head.

We also have a health and wellness community that offers past sessions on demand and upcoming live sessions coming after virtual conference! Check them out here: https://sharemylesson.com/community/wellness

Awesome! mWhat do you think about Mathematics poetry! Perhaps that would take some of the stigma off of the subject.

What are some examples of math poetry? That sounds super cool! If you have any examples to upload to SML, please do! :)

Absolutely. My daughter teaches civics to 4 year olds.

We also have a collection of civics resources for younger students here: https://sharemylesson.com/collections/civic-participation-our-youngest-…
Let me know what you think!

How do I get buy-in from staff and administration.

I'm not sure we have something that addresses that directly, but you may want to check out the community schools session to see if there are transferable ideas for engagement across job roles and community groups? https://sharemylesson.com/webinars/community-schools-building-relations…

It would be nice to hear how to deal with apathy, deaths in the families of students, how to help students learn how to argue without empowering them to take over, and how to be compassionate and protect myself from all of the input.

this session should fit the bill: https://sharemylesson.com/webinars/addressing-students-needs

I also think this one on addressing violence - https://sharemylesson.com/webinars/addressing-violence-against-educators and this one on civil debate should be helpful here: https://sharemylesson.com/webinars/deliberation-vs-debate
Do you have a top 3 list? :)
I agree -- I'm looking forward to a number of them, especially on Leveraging effective feedback and Media Literacy.
