About This Lesson
This lesson integrates music with poetry, drama and storytelling. It is appropriate for children in classroom with multiple ages and single-age classrooms.
In this lesson, children learn the rhythmic poem "Wee Willie Winkie." They learn a game to go with the poem. Students can tell a story about Willie. Students learn about quarter rest and notate it.
